Playing games with children is one of the best way's of supporting their communication. This page contains a selection of fun games to play with children. Once you have a done a few, and you understand how they support communication, you can apply many of the ideas to any game or activity.

To begin with, here are some activities from I CAN's 'Ready Steady Talk' activity book. These are aimed at 2-3 year olds, but can be used for older children as well. We will be adding more an more activities to this section over time, so do come back again. You can order the book from the I CAN website.
